First of all 3 cheers to the author..I was about to hang up on Indian authors ..but Aniruddh did a very decent job indeed..firstly the style was very hatke, if not original..a very shrewd try because thats how most of us make our diary entries(if we do)..wat im trying to say is that this guy used a writing style which is so common among everybody but the writers themselves..and that gives him an air of authenticity...secondly, the content is very hit-u-in-face..he must have researched well...no words are minced...army was shown in a different light altogether...for a change they too were shown human with all basic instincts and more...cheat, greed, lust and most importantly..survival.....Many readers may find the word usages a bit strange thats coz army people have their own set of vocab and Aniruddh is using just that..but no sweat...he explains every important thing later..so if u dont get something even after reading , say, four pages..be assured its not important..or write to me ill explain..the plot is fast and tight...one more thing...this guy won himself a bad sex award for this very novel...comparing love making to vehicle driving...but sexs not this books for..so that can be forgiven...I found this book very good and I recommend it...
