Bunty aur Babli brings us back to heyday of the Bachchan era and what we loved about the best of 70s Bollywood cinema. Replete with airplane heists, con jobs and full scale satire, the film is the most entertaining film out of bollywood in many years.

The songs are topical and movie is full of frolics and thievery all over the journey from UP to Bombay and Back.

Abhishek Bachchan shows that he’s a contender for the superstar title, while the original superstar shows who’s still the ’baap’ of bollywood. After many years, one gets to see Amitabh Bachchan the superstar. Furthermore, the Amitabh-Aishwarya scene (the way Aish lusts after Amitabh while Abhishek looks on) is itself worth the price of admissions.

The movie is fast paced, fun and has some great scenes of Abhishek, Rani, Amitabh, and Aishwarya. I’ve seen it 3 times already.
