You would be curious that why I have given such a faltu title. Not because the film is faltu. Nor becuase it’s of flinstones. Because it’s a film based on an English Novel. It’s a great movie by Yash Chopra. I think he is a better film maker than Karan Johar. Although it is based on an english novel, it gets you stuck on the screen (as I feel). Really, I didn’t get bored till the end of the movie except in one or two scenes. I felt that the movie had started only a few minutes before.
As you must have known, the story goes like this--
Abhishek Bacchan (rakesh) lives in a UP village and wants to be like Tata, Birla or ambani. He insults his father and leaves his house. Rani (Vimmi) with the same mentality wants to become a model or Miss India. As her parents want to get their girl married, she runs away from her house. They both meet after unsuccessful attempts. They both run from Kanpur, then to lucknow and then to Mumbai. After their unsuccessful attempt at Kanpur and other cities, they realize that they can’t stand on the foundations of truth and can’t cherish their dreams to become popular. Then they plan to become robbers who fool people like they stay in a five star hotel and pretend as if they will buy the hotel and get their hotel stay for free. They fool someone like thay buy washing machines from mall and also steal the goggles, watches and stuff like that. and in these incidents, they change their name to BUNTY AND BUBLI. There are many incidents. After a couple of incidents, they go to Mumbai where rani wanted to become a model and Abhishek tells to do this job alone. Then Rani tells that he can’t do this alone. Then, they marry. And continue these events. Amitabh finally catches them and they have their kid also. They promise to leave this job after the birth of their child. As soon as they promise, after an hour, Amitabh, catches them. Now what will they do?
The songs are good and one song is danced by Aishwarya. Other songs are not good. Dhadak Dhadak is good while Bunty aur Bubli is horrible. The music is good. They have shot at good places and the camera effects are good. Amitabh and Abhishek are just superb. Abhishek has just improved from 4 to 9 (out of 10). Rani is also looking and acting good. But this time she has exposed a bit. That’s bad. the cast is good. The directors and producers have work hard it seems. Well, but this cant’ be possible in real like the selling of Taj mahal.
Overall rating should be good.
GO and watch in this film. A nice movie.
