Burger King is one our favorite places to go. For a family of four we can all eat what we want, how we want and for under 20.00 bucks. And sometimes it does cost slightly more but that depends on what we all get. If we are cautious and eat from the .99 cent menu I can usually get out pretty cheap.
Sometimes my husband and I get in the mood without the kids and we will sneak off to the nearest one in our area and we don’t tell either! You know we parents deserve this pleasure every once and a while.
And there are times when it is just the kids and me having a mother kid day out and we will choose to go to a Burger King. And sometimes it is just me, but tell the family, they may get mad! A lot of times we go through the drive through window, but they do offer a sit down area inside.

Some Things On The Menu
Of course there is the Flamed Broiled Whopper as well as the Jr. Whopper. The French Fries, the Chicken Sandwich and the JR. Chicken Sandwich (at select Burger Kings) and there are the Chicken Tenders. And many other lunch and dinner items to choose from.
You can also choose breakfast items like their Croissants and Biscuits with ham and cheese, sausage, bacon and you can add egg and or cheese to any for an extra cost. You can also get their Cini Mini’s which are wonderful! And their chocolate chip cookies. You can choose the hash rounds as well. there are a lot of choices to make and a lot of different combo’s are always available in both the breakfast and lunch hours.
You can get orange juice, coffee, tea, milk, water, milk shakes, or sodas. Now some Burger Kings sell the Pepsi products and some sell the Coke products. Varies from area to area.
You can also get kids meals for the younger bunch and for the mid-life crisis bunch (young teens) as well. Burger Kings offers a variety of BK Jr. meals for the kid at heart. You can choose chicken tenders, hamburger/cheeseburger meals that come with fries and coke and a prize. For the older kids their food will be in a slightly larger cut. And items do vary from Burger King to Burger King.
And some of the Burger Kings now offer their Slushies, which are great for the whole family. You can also get ice cream to enjoy. There are salads as well. Lot’s of wonderful things to choose from.
How I Feel
We always receive great service and thus far have had no major problems with the food. I have one child that will eat not hamburgers from fast food (she loves her mama’s best) she doesn’t like ketchup, mustard or pickles, lettuce or tomato’s either, I know you are thinking what does the child eat, I can answer that! She eats their Chicken Sandwich, plain. And she is allergic to mayo so we have to make sure that is not on her sandwich.
When the budget is tight, which is often these days, we can all eat from the .99-cent menu and get full. There are always combo deals available and they range from $2.69 for a Whopper Jr. combo to $4.89 for a Chicken sandwich combo. And several others to choose from. The prices do vary from store to store as well as from state to state.
My son gets the kids meal. He can choose a hamburger, cheeseburger or chicken tender meal. They come with a fry, drink of choice, cookie and prize. He likes the prize the best. They have nice little prizes but you need to watch out for small parts around small children. Toys are not recommended for children under 3. That is stated on the outside of the packaging of the toy. Sometimes my son just wants Burger Kings Fries. We all love those. And sometimes he likes their Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I like being his being able to choose from several things. Makes my life much easier.
Burger King also offers side salads as well as larger salads like I already stated, and sometimes they are just what I need. They offer a fish sandwich that you can get the way you like it. Some of the Burger Kings offer the Spicy Chicken Sandwich if you are in the mood for HOT and some don’t so you will have to check at each restaurant.
Most Burger Kings offer a playground for the children. The area generally has tables and chairs so that you can all enjoy the outside. Some of the Burger Kings have the playground inside. You need to watch your children though while they are playing. And be sure that the playground equipment is safe. Be sure that the fence and gates are secured. Don’t leave your child unattended. Some parents do this, and it really makes me upset.
Although the food is full of fats, it is good, especially if you just have a graving for a burger and fries.
I recommend Burger King to all. But I also say this, not all people care for Burger King, and that is fine too. We all do have that choice.
