Not quite a king, maybe a prince.

Let me begin by saying, I am not a fast food person. There are very few fast food restaurants that I do like.

BURGER KING is one of the better ones.

Remember their old slogan, ’’Have it your way’’ Well, they really mean it. Add onion, take off the lettuce, more pickle, well done burger. Whatever you ask for they seem happy to do it for you.

First, their burgers are not slapped on a steel grill and fried in their own grease. At Burger King the burgers are sent through a conveyer where flames broil the meat from both sides and excess grease(YUK) drips off. Burger King burgers are even allowed on the Weight Watchers diet.

The fries are exactly the same as McDonalds, crispy and tasteful, when hot, soggy and cardboard like when not.

Burger King also offers onion rings, which I like very much.

They serve a Whopper sandwich, which is 1/4 lb of beef(cooked to order!) served on a bun with fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard and sliced not chopped up onions.(with or without cheese)

You can also get a very tasty(Did I say tasty and fast food together?) chicken sandwich, served on an elongated roll with mayo, lettuce and tomato(I also get onions added)

My favorite is their fish sandwich! I know, I know, it’s fried, but is it good. You get a large portion of breaded and fried fish with tartar sauce and lettuce(Hold the lettuce on mine!)and a slice of american cheese.

They’ll also make up a double or triple of whatever sandwich you want.

Just this past year, they added a budget menu of 99 cent items, like Arby’s.

Don’t forget your drink and and apple pie for dessert!

Burger King also serves breakfast. A freshly scrambled egg with bacon, or ham, or sausage on a warm croissant with melting cheese and hot crispy hash brown potatoes. Add a orange juice and ’’instant breakfast on the run’’ There is also pancakes, french toast and an egg on bisquit, if you prefer.

For some reason, I like Burger King.(At least once in a long while) I don’t eat there often, maybe once every 5-6 months, but I’v never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, served hot and the employees are for the most part quite pleasant.

So, if McDonalds was on the right and Burger King was on the left, my left directional signal would go on in my car!
