For a very long time I used to read just Economic Times. I then came across Business Standard and was so impressed with them that it is the first paper I pick these days. Their editorial pages are the best - They take strong views based on sound business logic.
It is extremely interesting to read them - Even if you don’t agree with them. Lets not even compare their editorial with that of ET. ET’s editorial page is decent as long as you don’t read what their editor writes. The stuff which others write are much better.
After reading BS, I came to the conclusion that ET is so dumbed down that it is the equivalent business masala paper.
If you are left or have socialistic leanings, you might find it a bit difficult to agree with BS. They have a capitalistic free market bias- unlike say the Hindu which almost sounds like a communist paper these days.
Lets not elevate ET to the levels of discussing their ’bias’ etc.
