I just find it plain irrelevant to find some of the photographs/picyures which have no relation to the articles that go with them whatsoever.The only reason for these pictures must be to attract the attention of the readers. Though I dont know how this is percieved by others I always feel a bit irritated by such irrelevant pictures.
As this being my general feeling I felt more irritated when these pictures are also lacking any originality. The photograph of the lady in Business Standard dated 11-9-08 on page 5 carrying an article ’Satyam mulls US/Europe aquisitions" is the same as one published in Financial Express carrying an article on ’House Panel to banks..
There must be existing a scarcity for even dumb pictures/photographs these days!Now what I have written applies not only to Business Standard but also Financial Express. I only hope that these business papers may confine to their serious business of financial news coverege and stop displaying unnecessary pictures.
