When I first started reading the Business World magazine 4 years back, it was mainly because it was the cheapest business magazine available at that time.
But as I went on, I found that it was more than worth the money. It is such a wonderful magazine for everybody, whether you are a student aspiring to step in to a B-school or a professional keen on improving your career. It includes a wide variety of sections covering all most all the topics you will want ot know and besides carries out opinions of the some of the most brilliant people like Ashok V. Desai, Subrato Bagchi and others.
What I find the most useful part in the magazine is the Case Study feature the magazine carries every fortnight. The case studies are up to date with the current market scenario and prove very useful in real life situations. I have also been reading other business magazines such as Money (OutLooks) and Business Today (India Today group) and I vouch for the Business World. The language used is simple and easy to understand and so the organization of the magazine.
Also, the website of the magazine is well designed and it is easy to find the information you want and you have choice to look into the archives section (It contains all the issues of the past three years). One drawback with the website is that you can not customize it to your choice. It would have been really nice had that choice was available. However as a subscriber of the magazine, I must say I am a bit disappointed with the customer service being provided.
I have been a subscriber with the magazine for the past 7 months and there are as many as four issues of the magazine that I did not receive. Inspite of me calling up the local office, they never took note of the concern. This is the only thing that goes against an otherwise very good magazine.
