Hollywood has talent... and its evident here .. I am not going to comment on cast or technicalities of the movie ... but I am here because I had to share my views on this movie.
The movie has a story that kind of gives u a headache trying to comprehend all that stuff. It is based on the CHAOS THEORY. I would advice that you google it and read the things about chaos theory .. its cool!!!!
any ways the story goes like this that .. its a confusing and troubled childhood where he suffers from embrassing blackouts at important times. He has a girl and his mother whom he adores and there are friends of his whose troubled lives troubles him too...
so the thing is .. that his father has been declared a lunatic. in the course of time he maintains a journal of each day of his life since age 7. He has these special power in his genes which allow him to travel back in time to his then current state and do something which he thinks will change his life for the better. ofcourse .. as per the chaos theory .. things dont work out as the way he wants to and slowly he realizes that more he tries more screwed up his/other friends life becomes...
so the blackouts are just his future taking over his current memory to force him to do something. In the end he is institutionalized just like his father .. and in desperation .. he goes back to the time he was about to be born and chokes him self with the umblical cord.... this is important to note that his mother had 2 still births before concieving him.This can be considered as .. that before him his siblings might have gone thru the same fate.....
its a worth watch movie .. for its sheer dare devilry of predicting the unpredictable outcomes. ... watch it man ... you wont regret it!!!
