I purchased following items from Big Bazaar, Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
1) Koryo 29 KER TV
2) Philips 5.1 Speaker system
I am not satisfied with Koryo 29” KER TV as it has manufacturing sound defect issues. Whenever we see any program on this TV, the sound suddenly amplifies for 1-2 seconds and again comes to normal. This behavior is erratic and not happening all the times. On an average I am observing it 10-15 times a day.
I reported this issue to Big bazaar on the very next day itself. The person has visited to see TV on 5/3/2009. The issue is still there. I went personally to Big Bazaar on 7/3/2009.There I met Mr Chandra Shekher(electronic section) (Mob#: 9491868678) who discussed the issue with his Boss and told that they are looking into the issue and try to give me some alternative options in two days
(i) Either to replace this defected piece with new one,
(ii) Or Give me an option to buy TV of another manufacturer.
I waited for 2 days but did not get any response from any person. I called Big Bazaar customer care section again but no one is properly responding. Somehow I got the mobile # of Mr Anil Jagga (mob #9392595777).
I discussed the issue with him. He in turn discussed the issue with Mr. Chandra Shekher who told me that I will get a response by 11/3/2009. I am very much upset with Big Bazaar electronic section response and decided that in future I will not buy any electronic products from Big Bazaar as well as influence all my coworkers for the same. I also checked their prices and found that they are quite high than the market price. Finally I returned the defected piece and got my money back after lots of argument/negotiations.
Recommendation: Dont buy any electronic items from Big Bazaar
