Pathetic, Horrible and Unprofessional cab service.
We booked a cab for 1250 kms from gurgaon and paid advance to cabbazar. Once cab was booked, cab owner kept pestering me to paytm him 3000 rupees for permit fees and all. I rejected citing that I would pay the whole amount at last but he kept calling me and messaging me for same. Finally I paid that amount before leaving gurgaon and then he called me and said to give 3000 rupees in cash to driver. I was taken aback because we covered hardly 50 kms and we were getting calls to shell out money like anything. I paid 2000 to cab driver and then driver filled the fuel tank thrice before reaching the destination. Destination was about 500 kms but we already filled fuel for about 5500 rupees. Now when we reached Sainj, driver started making excuses that road is not meant for Xylo. That road is under PMGSY and it is motorable road. Repair work is going on there due to which it is a bit rusty. Now driver annoyed us and even dropped 3 kms before our destination citing that road is not motorable. However we saw that even bus service is there from sainj to shangarh. Apart from that multiple cars were operating on that road. So after taking around 13000 rupees from us (excluding tolls) driver ran away and left us stranded in that remote village and due to which our plan suffered a lot and we had to extend our leaves and shell out more money.
Now when we contacted cabbazar they said talk to driver we couldn’t do much in this case which means once they got the advance, they even wouldn’t listen to you.
I have read few reviews and story is same...cab Bazar and drivers are involved in these scams where they ran away in between after taking major chunk of the car fare amount and left passengers on their own. Their customer support even lacks basic ettiquettes and is very rude and unprofessional.
Beware of cabbazar. They might lure you after giving 200 rupees discount but later they loot a huge chunk of money from you.
