Cabo de Rama fort and beach is far away from the Canacona city. The 1.5 km of road to the fort is muddy and fort also is not well maintained. The entrance fee to the fort is 200 rupees but there is nothing much to see over there. you get a good view of beach from the fort thats it and for that these frauds are charging 200 rupees.
The fort is not properly barricaded so its risky to take your children’s to this place. This place is so remote that you wont see any hotels, shopping site here. Avoid going to this place in the night time as there are no street lights on the road.
This is very secret place and its better not to mess with locals over price etc. There is not much sightseeing and you have to trek downwards from the fort to reach the beach. This beach is not recommended for children’s and elderly people due to Mountainous terrain.
