Let’s start with my dealings with the Cabsab office.
My point of contact at Cabsab was executive Mr. Shubham Sharma. During enquiry and pre-booking he was all smiles and very accommodating about my requirements, quotes, promising me facilities, discounts etc. left, right and centre. Fortunately I had read reviews before so I made sure that all communication was also on email(i.e in writing) because, while on the trip he refused to arrange for a one way drop from Amritsar to Dalhousie at the price agreed upon earlier. He also backed out on the agreed total amount and demanded more, without cause or notice at the last moment. In this demand he was very rude, unprofessional. To the point of threatening us with police action.
As far as the cab & driver are concerned,
the only plus side was that the car was clean and in a good condition. We had no breakdowns of any kind throughout the trip, the driver was careful, punctual and drove safely. However, he was not at all informed about the areas we visited and shirked away from driving in areas with traffic issues and suggested pick up and drop points that proved to be very inconvenient for us.His attitude of reluctance hindered from giving us a good road trip experience.
