Cadburys have done themselves a lot of good by the new advertisement with Amitabh Bachchan. The good thing to note about this advertisement is that not only have they chosen the best actor in Bollywood but also they have sought to clear their position. This was a much required step after the sudden bad publicity they got.
The key point in the advertisement is that Amitabh Bachchan doesnt do any advertisment for money. For him Mann ki Shanti is very important. And he claims that he gets Chain ke neend after doing the ad as his self-conscience is not pricking him.
I dont know who conceptualised this advertisement but whoever did it did an excellent job. Choosing Amitabh Bachchan was an important thing as there is no one in Bollywood today who can make as much impact as him. After all he is the single reason why the polio campaign this year was a huge success. It is important to note that very few people used to turn up at the polio booths but now people throng the booths.
To wind up, Id say that Cadburys have pulled out an ace this time. An important thing to note is that not only did they make an excellent advertisement but also followed it up with their new double protection packaging.
