I was fist introduced to 5 star as a kid cuz my mom loved it and thought it to be the perfect sweet treat. My first memories of 5 star are sorta messy because it melted adn the caramel got all over me. But that never detered me from grabbing one every now and then. Growing up it became just one of the choclates till I discovered it again during a trip.
We were on vacation in a hill station and all the eating places were closed, only a small paan shop was open and he only had 5 star. That day I rediscovered the gooey goodness of a 5 star. Back in those days I think it used to be 5 bucks and was perfect for my pocket.
The best thing about 5 star was that it was one of a kind back then, the only one with caramel as a filling. And its pretty good for the indian climate as it keeps well even in the summer. Grab yourself one of these treasures and youll never regret it. Not to mention its packaging has always been impecible.
