Afe 1730 is a fun place if you’re looking for a few drinks with a large group. The starters are pretty good(must mention at this point the bacon wrapped prawns that I was positively tripping on) with a wide range of options available in kebabs.
The Indian cuisine in the main course was disappointing(the use of masalas is overwhelming and the curries were almost bitter), the steaks with mashed potatoes were average(the potatoes need to be cooked more). The lava cake and dark chocolate cake stole the show. The caramel custard needs to be improved, or taken off the menu. It was quite terrible tbh(too much egg!)
The mocktails were pretty meh, but I could see everyone was enjoying the Sangrias. Well, they do have a well stocked bar, so I’m sure you’ll find something that suits your fancy
