To go or not to go

Cafe Churchill serves by far the best vfm continental food in mumbai. Everything on the menu is good be it the lasagnes, pastas, chicken meals, burgers or sandwiches. They have a good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes(they use beef and pork products in their dishes). Be sure to have the ice tea, which is by far the best I have had anywhere in the city. The desserts (which are on display) are ok, but are very rich in chocolate .They could certainly do by adding more varieties of desserts (especially the non-chocolate kind). The food portions are not bad, and its definitely value for money. The one thing missing on their menu are salads. They have hardly 4 - 5 salads and I recommend you taste none of them.

ok, enough about the good things. Cafe Churchill is small, almost cramped with only 6-7 tables. the management is unfriendly, the waiters are rude and very honestly, dont know how to wait ! All they do is stand and stare at you while you are having your meal. So if you want a nice romantic lunch/dinner, Cafe Churchill is definitely not the place to go to. Also you will probably have to wait for atleast 15- 20 mins if you happen to go during the peak lunch or dinner hours. Forget about having your food delivered cos they can take hours to deliver food.(From colaba to churchgate, they once took over 2 hours to deliver a lasagne and a salad.)

So go there only for the food and prepare to overlook the rude waiters, bad management and cramped spaces...
