This has happened with me for the second time in same CCD store in Connaught Place, New Delhi. On 27.07.2014, I went to the store and I asked for strong tea in addition to some other orders. The fellow told me he will give two tea bags as they don’t have strong tea otherwise.
After placing order, I requested for the bill to which I was replied that bill shall be given to me along with my order on table. I paid and waited for my orders but when I was served, the bill was missing. Upon my enquiry, I was told that bill will be given to me later.(details of my order- bill no. 8403, date 27.07.2014 time 17.:59:23 TNO 0208, Order no. 13, store- CP Inner circle, radial road, opposite Indian oil petrol pump, Delhi-110001
When finally I was handed over the bill after a lot of tussle, I realized that for a strong tea, I am charged for two tea! This is pure loot and does not happen in all other cafe.
Incidentally, this is second incidence with me in the same outlet. Earlier around 2 months back, when we had come for coffee, same drama was done by the staff there for bill. Later, when we checked the bill which we could get after a lot of hassles, it was found that some flavors were charged without we ordering. The looting spree of CCD was highlighted once again.
The price of coffee they charge is not some street prices and using such cheap tricks for charging customers cannot be seen in the correct spirit. I sent a mail to the company on next day hope to get a redressal of issues raised plus refund of money charged extra along with due apology letter duly admitting willful act of loot of the company. However, I did not get anything except an acknowledgement mail.
