Cafe Coffee Day like it is

Hello,

I patronise Coffee Day in Bangalore [Koramangala, Indiranagar] since two and a half years now, every single day.

They are good value for money in terms of the coffees served, the costs and the taste and flavour. An average coffee is well brewed and the taste very much true to good coffee - they claim to use their own mixture of a particular brew [beans]. The specialised coffees can be expensive and cost upto 100 Rs per.

Some of their signature coffees and cold coffees are simply amazing and really, really filling as well.

Ambience and service are also quite good, the staff are courteous and the service quite impeccable with napkins, forks spoons, etc...

The range of food items is limited in the sense that they can offer only pre-cooked food items like sandwiches, pastas, rolls, pastries etc. The food is priced Ok, on the average you pay about 35-45 Rs for a snack like a sandwich or a burger or a pasta or a pastry, etc.

The portions are just enough for one person snacking. Food is usually quite fresh and the taste distinctive and not standardized...

On the down side - I find that they play really loud music - but in all honesty, these Cafes are a hangout for the college crowd and so the music may actually be appropriate!

All these observations are based on my experiences with Coffee Day in Bangalore.
