I ordered the Cup & Slice combo, with Cafe Coffee Day Indulgence - the cake tasted like elastic! It was rubbery & extremely dry. When I complained about it at the counter, the boys working there disagreed with me & said it must not be heated properly. On their suggestion I let it be heated again(even though it was already heated enough!) It was still the same, even after being re-heated(and obviously so!) - the cake was definitely stale!
Then I asked them to just charge my Cappucino & give me a fresh bill for it. They gave me back Rs. 35/- stating they can’t generate a fresh bill as it’ll be deducted from their salary - a weird rule if it really is so!
This particular branch has really disappointed me time & again. The first time it served lukewarm Cappucino. When asked to re-heat, it was still lukewarm! The second time it served smelly Tandoori Paneer Sandwich. This time, I went to this CCD after a long time, hoping it may have gotten better(as I usually love CCDs). But alas! Nothing different. I was as disappointed as the last 3 times. Never has any other CCD been such a disappointment.
It would be great if the Malviya Nagar CCD would raise it’s standards to the real CCD level.
