I visited CCD outlet in Madhapur, Hyderabad. They have a special world cup menu and I ordered something called’Fan of the Match’. This is their description of this beverage "All the flavours of a nail-biting workd cup final in one awesome drink. A crunchy cookie, fluffy whipped cream, choco sauce and electric blue curacao make this drink a must have for all cricket fans!"
Thinking that this is some coffee based drink, I ordered it. But when I got it, it turned out to be icecream! When I told him the description does not say’icecream’ anywhere, the waiter told me that the picture is there. And believe me guys, the picture doesnt look like an ice cream at all. I told them I dont like ice cream and besides have a cold, so cant have it, but they refused to do anything, just repeating that the picture is there. After arguing back and forth with this guy, and another guy, we finally gave up. I tried to eat the icecream which only worsened my cold. The CCD guys neither offered a solution nor said anything about remedying the situation in the future.
This only left a bad taste in my mouth and will now think twice before going to CCD again!
