I don’t think there should be any comparison between barista and Cafe Coffee Day.After all, they are selling totally different concepts.Barista has tried to inculcate the Italian coffee culture in India.It’s a place where one can go with work and keep sitting throughout the day.Cafe Coffee Day, on the other hand is a regular fast food joint where one goes to eat, drink and generally have a good time with friends and family.
Besides, Barista’s target customers are more towards the higher end of the market than Cafe Coffee Day’s.What else can explain the insane pricing? Rs 40 for a cup of coffee!!!
