Feedback for Restaurant Cafette
The Menu card boasts of Indian, Chinese and Arabic Cuisines. A restaurant with absolutely adorable interiors and located at a prime location on the Old Airport Road, I just could not resist checking this place out when it opened around the Jan-2010. Since then I have visited this place thrice every time expecting this times experience to be better than the earlier. But if I am to sum my feeling up in one word then it is "DISAPPOINTING"
A few points on the negative side
The service is absolutely pathetic. You can easily expect almost around 25-30 mins for a Roti - Dal - Sabzee order. After a while the wait really becomes agonizing.
Two out of three times the waiter has messed up with the order placed. You end up accepting butter roti instead on butter naan only because you dont have the patience to wait for another 20-25 mins for the order to be changed.
Youd be a big fool to assume that everything written on the menu is actually served here. The fact is no. My honest guess is that they can only cater to about half of what is written in the menu card.
The gravy is staright out of the grinder. As if everything cooked together, then put into a mixer, a few chicken pieces added and then served. To an extent that I think I am eating something unnatural.
Repulsive overcooked chicken. I wonder how many times was it re-cooked before landing on my plate.
The ugliest part is the table covers. Stained table covers that leave behind faint memories that they were spotless white at some point of time. Why on earth would you like to have white colored table cloths if you cannot manage them..
The food presentation is poor.
But to be fair on the positive side
To sum it up, I think theyve got the right "infrastructure" but the wrong "people".
