The charges in the calcutta medical research institute is touching the sky.You will be shocked after seeing the bill.The charges are so high that only rich people can pay it.
Just for a visit to a doctor you are charged rupees 1000 to 1200 whereas in other hospitals and clinics , it is max ruppes 600 to 700.
I know that it is a reputed hospital , but the management is very poor and fees and expense is more than whatever you may be expecting.
I had taken my aunt to a doctor of this hospital to an ENT specialist .The package which I was told was of 80000 rupees .It was a general ear surgery.In the other hospital I was just charged rupees 30000.So you can see the difference. I had got my mom admitted once in calcutta hospital for one day , and she said me that nurse did not take care of her and other patients in the ward.The nurse are carelees.
The management is very poor .The charges are at the peak .I do not understand why people opt to go to calcutta hospital.The hospital was very good before but since last year it is only running in name and fame which they had before.
The hospital staff are not supportive.Food given to patient are not properly cooked .I have many complaints about the hospital.
It has only got well maintained stucture and fame.The doctors are specialist , no doubt about it , but the same doctor when goes to another hospital has less fees and low package cost.
You would not get value for money .The hospital needs to work with their staff and management department.
