This is one guy I would love to be with. The amount of fun he has during his summer vacations makes me feel utterly miserable for having grown up!!!!!! Congratulations to Bill Watterson for bringing in Calvin, Hobbes, Mom, Dad, Susie and Rosalyn into our lives.
For those who are new let me introduce these ppl ...Calvin is a 8 yr old guy who has a stuffed tiger - Hobbes - for a best friend. Hobbes comes to life whenever Calvin is alone with. Now, imagine a hyper active kid who has a say in each and everything, who hates the baby sitter and makes her earn each and every penny that his mom pays her !!!
Then you have Calvin’s teacher who literally counts the days remaining for her retirement !!! That’s Calvin for u :) I have read in many sites that people found Calvin’s Dad to be a pessimist and asked Bill to discontinue but Thanks Bill ...for keeping Calvin’s Dad the way he is . Calvin never loses a chance to make his Dad feel miserable on a monday morning !!! But then there are many times when Calvin wishes he is like hid dad !!! Hobbes is more the philosophical kind :) I always feel that Calvin is incomplete without Hobbes.
Susie is the girl in school. One school of thot is that Calvin is in love with Susie but Calvin will never ever admit it !!!
