Baghdad Bob is my new comic relief for the war. He is Iraq’s Minister of Information and otherwise known by his real name of Mohammed Saeed Sahaf. You know the fellow, thick glasses, big nose(here is his picture if you can not seem to place him -> https://pbase.com/image/15200861/original.jpg) His job seem to be of reading Iraqi news for foreign TV(about the only TV that takes him seriously is al-Jazeera TV). Anyway I took a few days and jotted down some of my favorite lines from Baghdad Bob to share with everyone at Mouthshut. I am sure you have your own favorites.
’There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!’
’They tried to bring a small number of tanks and personnel carriers in through al-Durah but they were surrounded and most of their infidels had their throats cut.’We made them drink poison last night’

I never thought people could take someone like him seriously, then I was reminded that alot of people though the Afghans were winning the war for a long time(at least until the battle of big battle of Masar-e-Sharif). Egypt had alot of it’s people believing they were winning the 6 day war(until the 7th day).
I am interested on your opinions of Baghdad Bob. Who do you trust to bring you the news and why?(no matter which side you root for).
I will be writting a more serious and in-debth article on this subject later on. It will include a lot of links to dispel some half-truths and full untruths on America. So don’t dispar if this article is a little off the subject for now, unless you must, I love a little objective critizism(even if it is just to call me a few names).
