Mumbai Terror Attack 26/11

The most violent terror attacks on Indian soil was on 26/11, Mumbai came under an unprecedented night attack as terrorists used heavy machine guns and grenades to strike at the city’s most high-profile targets...

Seeing these two major landmarks - the Taj Mahal and Oberoi hotels - on fire is psychologically damaging for people in India and is comparable to the affects the September 11 attacks had on Americans in 2001....this is the worst terrorist attack since 9/11........

I would say, this terror strike has been the most gruesome. The modus operandi of random firings, grenade attacks and taking foreigners as hostages seem to have created more panic than location based bomb blasts. Hats off to Police, Commados, MARCOS who fought bravely and brought this act of terrorism to end.

Arnab Goswami of Times Now took a good stand of not showing the gruesome visuals of the dead terrorists and also not sharing details of the army/ats plans to attack the oberoi/trident and taj to flush out the terrorist.

Hats off to the TV channel reporters for getting as close to the strike locations braving the cross-firing and grenade attacks and sending in LIVE reports to the viewers...

Encounter Specialist Vijay Salaskar and ATS Chief Hemant Kalaskar, ACP Ashok Kamate, Additional Commissioner Ashok Kamte - We salute you to have given a brave service to Mumbai.

Finally it was over after 59 hours. Think about those who waited to die, who waited to live, who waited for an Absolution that will never to come to them.

My heartfelt condolences to all those who may have lost a loved one in these attacks. My hopes and prayers to all out there affected by this act of brutality. Lets all pray for the souls to rest in peace and join our hands to end this Terrorism.
