I cancelled two e tickets in IRCTC on 14 th sep 09 and the amount was refunded from indian railway on the next day. But still now the money has not been credited to my savings account in Canara Bank, Barasat Branch.I talked to the branch manager, went there several times, talked with their circle office in kolkata and also consulted with the debit card division at the head office in bangalore.No satisfactory response from them. The branch manager is asking me to contact with bank headquarters and to collect the information for the transaction.Think twice before cancelling a ticket online if you are a canara bank customer.
I am glad to include that I got my two amounts back in my account yesterday. But for that I had to talk to the debit card department and knock the bankers time and again for one week.
