My son goes to Candor International School. As a parent I feel that the school is maintaining a balance between academics and extracurricular activities. At the end of the day My son is not tired and is not overburdened with with homework. I do not have to push him to go to school, he is bright and ready every morning and eager to attend school, to meet his friends, attend the robotics class, play drums etc. When my son talks non stop about his day at school, it makes me feel good that he is slowly becoming independent. This obviously reflects on the effort taken by his teachers.
The biggest boon for me is not having to wake up in the morning and worry about his meals. It is such a relief, specially with crazy working hours. Every school has its ups and downs. Candor did go through a rough patch with the change of principals, but they have now outgrown that and working towards a better system. If given a choice, I think my son may never shift schools irrespective of our transfers.
