I can think of different reasons to renew our old digital camera and move to the SLR segment. It is true that I also know several reasons not to buy a SLR camera, but lets not be negative at the moment.
Canon 1000D Once you check the reasons why you should buy a DSLR and the reasons why you should not do it, if you still think you want one, the Canon 1000D can be your camera.
The first reason? The price . The Canon EOS 1000D is a camera designed to break the barrier of output prices marked by other Canon models. In this sense Nikon had won the game with cheaper models, since the cheapest Canon SLR to date was the Canon 450D.
The other reasons? The features you get for that price . Sure it is the less professional SLR camera that Canon currently has on the market, but it is also sure to be much better than higher end models a couple of years ago or three.
Analyzing its features, it has the same DIGIC III system of other higher-end models, and has megapixels(10), focus points(7) and shots per second(3) more than enough for those who are not intimidated by Those who like to say that of "And mine more ."
Knowing that it is completely compatible with the EF and EF-S lenses and that incorporates the LiveView system to be able to see also through the LCD what I am going to photograph, what more do I need?
Does this mean that the Canon 1000D is the best option today? Not much less. There are probably many other models belonging to brands with less market share that meet the same price range and have superior functionalities. But the ease of finding accessories and targets at a good price compatible with this camera is always an additional advantage.
And as always happens when a manufacturer announces the departure of a new model, prices of other models from the same manufacturer and direct competition are revised downwards, which generates good buying opportunities.
And if someone from Canon reads this article and wants to give me a 1000D for us to analyze thoroughly in dZoom, to write to me, we are always on time to leave aside my Nikon.
