I brought this camera about a year ago ago. And luckily I got it at rs20, 999 as there was a offer going on at Amazon. Before that I was using a small Kodak digital camera with very few options to play or alter with. So cannon 1200d is my first DSLR. It’s a awesome camera to learn photography. With very few buttons you will very easily get use to it. Though after using a DSLR for a couple of months and understanding all the technical aspects of a DSLR I was literally wondering if there were few more AUTO FOCUS POINTS in this camera. But with this price range, this is all one can expect. And now I have managed myself with 9 outo focus point that my 1200d has. Other expect of this camera are awesome.
Talking about those lenses I must say I rarely find any occasion using the 18-55mm lens. I mostly use that 55-250mm one. Both the lens are good. Very fast focusing capabilities. And sometimes with the object being very close you may find some ocations to use that wide angle lens.
As a whole it won’t be wrong to say that this package at this range of price was a golden deal for me.
Last but not the least being my first SLR I just love it.
