Greetings folks!, I ve had this camera for about 3 years, so here I am sharing a 100% true experience. Coming down from a nikon line this was mu first and best canon. so lemme tell u a few points to be noted btw canon n nikon
1. canon has a good light sensitivity(nikon tends to under expose the pics)
2. nikon has a good dynamic range(deep colors. esp skies will look great)
3. nikon has better image quality(matters for a lot of pixel peepers)
4. if you are looking for indoor photography go for canon or if u are a outdoor photography enthusiast u can go for the nikon for its awe dynamic range
alright coming down to the pros and cons of canon 600d
Pros:
1. good blend of colors and skin tones(with a 50mm f1.8 lens)
2. easy settings
3. BEST IN CLASS LIVE VIEW SHUTTERSPEED AND APERTURE ADJUSTMENT
4. good for fair skin tones
cons:
1. iso range is not soo great
2. noise is a problem after 3200 ISO
3. if u are looking for a crop sensor then go for nikon DX cameras because nikon sensors are bit bigger than canon ones
the rest is upto ur use and situations but what I have made as a conclusion is that if u are looking for crop sensor go for nikon otherwise canon will be perfect.
one more thing wat I felt is that the raw processing is much more better in canon raws(.nef) where u can recover a lot of shadows and highlights.
