Best Budget Dslr ?

Hello I have been photographer with Dslr from last 8 month but researching on it from last 2 years. I have tried Canon 1200D. So here are my impressions.

Design and Build Quality

hello if you are looking good design looks then just dont buy any dslr, because dslr doesnot look good at all. regarding bulid quality is relatively lightweight and comfortable to hold.

Performance

Performance is just ok for the price I was not that impress. if you want speedy camera then you should look at nikon D3200 or D3300. Because canon is using slow processor where as nikon having much faster.

Image Quality

Image Quality is pretty great in daylight but not at Par with Nikon Entry level Dslr. but dont worry if you know how to edit RAW images you can turn that image into Nikon like. and I must say if you are using Dslr you must b knowing manual mode to contol things. Otherwise just buy point and shoot cameras.

Noise Performance is poor in canon 1200D. you will face no issue till ISO 800 after that you start observing. at ISO 3200 image quality is not that usable. Nikon D3200 or any nikon Dslr perform much better.

User interface

User interface compare to Nikon is much simpler.

Video Recording

if you are buying 1200D just for Video recording then please just dont buy. its just sucks. you have to invest in higher end dslr. because auto focus is not fast due to contrast detect auto focus. Video cameras do better.

please not you can work out if you know how to focus manually.

Eco system and lenses

I would say as of now is dslr market only canon and nikon are the provider. and both of them have established and well balanced ecosystem. Your Canon 1200D will work with most of the Canon Lenses.

Conclusion

Canon 1200D comes with 2 lens which is really great and that offers great value for money. But my recommendation will be buy nikon D3200 at same price though you get single lens which is not that useful but you can buy more cheaper lens like 55-200 or 50mm f/1.8 nikon lens and get much better image quality.

but still if your are just starting and you love canon then you can go with it. it is just ok.
