I’ve got this camera for years now. Its a great camera and I got it for comparatively cheaper price as that of Other DSLR’s. The point and shoot function of this camera isappreciable and one would really love.
But now since the 450D and 500D 600D along with other few cheaper DSLR’s with good functions have come out, it’s probably not the best place to start if you’re in the market for a first DSLR. But one can surely have it as a backup if you already own a DSLR from Canon.
The only thing I don’t like about it, is the rubber eye piece which is always falling off to the point that it’s now lost. Otherwise, really great camera. All controls really easy to use and very easy to understand. Overall a good camera by Canon.
