I have always been this photo-maniac who loves clicking pictures at every junction. And so is my father. As desperate as we were, we laid hands on the new Canon EOS 600D camera.
This instalment from the house of Canon is an every photo-lovers delight. The camera is equipped with some very interesting and exclusive features that makes it stand apart from the rest. Besides, the pictures produced are of digital quality and nothing that leaves you not satisfied. From superior functions to dream quality photographs, everything pack it this one single device.
We bought the Canon EOS 600D from one of the nearby retailers in our region which costs us around Rs.45428. However the camera is available at a far cheaper rate in online shops like Snapdeal and Amazon.

Design and Feel – The Canon EOS 600D sports the typical professional camera look and a bit of Canon touch. The camera is a piece of broad material dyed with a crisp black colour. The sides have been given a rugged feel to make for a better grip and handling. Weighing around 500g, the camera doesn’t feel much heavy and is a tad lighter than other cameras of the same sort. The shutter and lens covers the major portion of the front part with the Canon logo to the top. The functional buttons have been put to the right and the sides have been designed in an oval shape to facilitate grasp while shooting. The 3-inch screen is at the back.
18MP Lens – Owing to the price, this is a factor which could have been increased a bit but when you look at the pictures, this little flaw can be compromised. The Canon EOS 600D is equipped with a powerful lens that has a pixel dimension of 18MP. This is equivalent to the 25MP megapixel of other cameras. Trust me, the Canon lens is far better than most other cameras. The camera is capable of clicking extremely high quality pictures that fit to perfection.
Dim Light Photography – This is the best part of the camera. Dim Light photography of the Canon EOS 600D is awesome. By awesome, I mean it’s the best I have seen so far. In low lit conditions, the camera produces crisp images and even in completely dark conditions, the results are beyond explanations. Full lit photographs are beyond comparison and don’t need a review but for the low light photography, this camera is perfect. The camera is specifically designed to adjust to less light conditions which makes for some great pictures even when the lights are not sufficient.
HD Video Recording – The Canon EOS 600D can record HD videos at a full 1080p. This gives in for a Blu-ray quality video output. Even though we have used the video recording option far less, but the experience was awesome to record videos. For moving and fast motion objects, the recording comes surprisingly clear. Blurry videos are no longer an issue with this camera.
Lens Feature – The Canon EOS 600D packs in some very innovative features. Along with the features, clicking photographs is a delight. The live view shooting feature is the trademark aspect of the camera and surely rocks like a pro-cam.
