Canon 70d allows you a very good video result but its image quality fails with the 18-135mm kit lens . so if you want to shoot video its best option ( use prime lenses for video ).
if you want to shoot pictures you should upgrade your lens to the canon l series lens . 24-105 l f4 gives you a very decent image quality with a very sharp result . you can use other lenses but this lens is quiet reasonable in price and it is having endless result .
