I have been using this camera since last 4 yrs and this is one of the camera from where I learned everything about photography. I mostly use this camera for outdoor photography with Canon EOS EF 50mm f/1.4 II Prime Lens. I also have 18-135mm lens which I normally use for capturing landscapes.
It has 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor which does job well in every aspect of photography. It’s quite an old model for now and its production also has been stopped by Canon but it’s still one of the most demanded camera in the market due to its amazing features and low cost compare to other models in Canon or Nikon.
With the help of ISO 100-6400 I can shoot even in low light condition which I like a lot. It also gives 8 fps continuous shooting which is good for capturing fast moving objects. For Videos its not that bad because 1080p HD video recording with manual controls but it lacks in Auto Focus feature. I mentioned rock solid because it is weather proof and made of Magnesium alloy.
Overall I would recommend this camera to everyone.
