This is a perfect DSLR for all. Picture quality is amazing(definitely not the best in the class). But when it comes to video, it is the leader in the class. Moreover it is having Swivel LCD with touch, that helps a lot.
For bird/action photography it is quite capable with 7 fps(in JPEG not RAW). Also you can control this camera from your smartphone(android/iphone with EOS remote app). It’s AF is too good and very fast. For better results, try STM lenses. Overall It’s all-rounder camera. It may not produce images as sharp as Nikon D7100 but if you consider all the features provided by 80D(like better video, AF, faster), it’s the best semi pro DSLR. My words - "Go for it, it’s a complete package".
Excellent all-round camera The best DSLR in terms of video focusing in live-view thanks to new Dual-pixel AF system. Everything is exceptional except price. Much cheaper in USA.
