Canon ixus 170 has 12x optical zoom, it also has small 2.7 inch lcd screen, 1/2.3 inch type ccd sensor, 4xdigital zoom, 20 mega pixel, it has no wifi option and no gps, it does not have smile shutter. No wireless connection, no external flash, no HD video, no touch screen, no manual focusing, low battery life , slow lens at wide3.60, no panorama shooting, max sensitivity only iso 1.600, only 9 focus points.the video quality is not good and it tends to have lines across the video when held up against light.how ever the audio is good, its a big flop camera, camera with low megapixel which is of no use for good photography.one thing is good thats it is cheap thats it . I would not recommende to buy this camera.
