Its a great printer. the canon pixma mobile app allows u to setup and use various functions. I was able to scan a pic to my phone very easily.
its preferred that u connect the printer.thru your router so that you can remote print via pixma or air or google cloud. very useful in case you needed a print from your office like a map for your.kid. you can also use direct wifi if you dont have router but for cloud print you need your latop hooked up to the printer and internet bit tricky to have wifi connected to one laptop
I don’t recommended it to you . you can buy hp printers because if I compare this cannon printer with hp then hp is better than cannon . print quality of hp is slightly better than cannon printer and you can easily refill hp ink cartages . but if you want to refill cannon ink cartages then first you have to make holes in that cartage so. I recommended you to buy hp printers . and the rate of hp and cannon is almost same .
