Hi friends.i bought this pixma mp 287 printer about 2 years ago and I am quite impress with its performance.the print quality is briliant, scan quality is also superb.
I bought it at 3990 from a shop.This is a multifunctiin printer and everything you will find good about it, its over 2years now and its running smoothly with no issue.
But there is a con with it-though there is no compromise with the quality from canon but the biggest problem is its cost of printing.
The black cartridge costs Rs1050 and if you want colour then you need to add another cartridge that costs Rs 1300.it yields 220 pages from one cartridge.so cost over 4 Rs per page.
Refilling of canon cartridge is risky it may get damaged & shopkippers often refused to do that and you end up with buying new one.
So i’d say the quality is awsome but there are other printers in the market that costs much less.so if you can overcome the costing issue then I will definately say, yess you can go for it.
