Surely beginner's professional camera

Well, this is my first review on mouthshut and I thought its better to write a review based on my 5-6 months

experience.

I wanted to buy a digicam at a reasonable price and of the highest possible quality.  Well, this is what everyone

wants ;-).    After a  research for a week or two I  decided to buy canon A430.  To detail about my research, I

browsed the internet collected as much as  real possible pictures, which were taken by different digicam (Sony, NIkon,

Canon), compared them and woooh, its the canon A430 I was looking for.  To demonstrate; i’ve attached  some real

pictures taken by my camera, in ’my product pictures".... you can see them and decide on your own.

I bid in on ebay and bought it @ 5000 rs. and a separate 1gb sd card @ rs. 650 again from ebay.

As of today, I got more than 100 eye expanding queries, , "u sure, u clicked from ur camera?"

Its more than 2 years old digicam, but If its still available just go and buy it.. its definitely very reasonable and

u’ll never regret it.

What I like:

  1. The picture quality:  In day time, it captures the color very  nicely and sharply.  Sometimes amazingly.

2.  Speed: Running @ more than 100 kmph you take out the camera, switch it on and take a snap.. it takes less than 1.5

second with ignorable blurr.

  1. Software: Attach the usb cable. It ask immediately about possible operations. The transfer feed is very good.

Atleast I’m satiesfied. Join the pics for 360 degrees.  Firework images are eye-catching.

  1. 4X optical Zoom: I’ve taken pictures which were not sharply visible to my naked eye. (And not distinguishable to 1x

zoom ;-) )

  1. Standards: Standard mini usb cable. Direct connection to my tv with a/v output.  Standatd AA size batteries (with

one recharge on rechargable batteries, I filled up full 1 gb in 3days, around 300 pics for full size and 10 videos).

  1. Video with sound: The video capture is satisfactory since frame rate is not that high.  But its ok. It captures

sound very nicely.

What I dislike:

  1. Size: It doest easily fit in your jeans pocket. Unless the jeans is stretchable ;-).  I wished it to be a bit

thinner. (But when quality and cost are compared.. forget the size, its still looks good and not very bulky .. ok.

  1. Night Snaps: I heard, its a problem with all digicams, and its there with this cam too. Pictures are grany when

taken at less light.

  1. Flash: Not very powerful, Its ok ok, upto 3-5 metres.

  2. screen size: its a bit small.. just around 2.2’’ inches.

All in all, there is no comparison to this product at this price and quality.  Go and buy it, if  its ur first digicam

and want to become a professional some day.
