Value for Money

My purchase of the Canon Powershot A510 about 10 months ago was the culmination of a week long on-line analysis of different reviews of Digital cameras - Nikon, Sony, Olympus, etc.

I finally zeroed in on the Canon Powershot A510.

It is extremely rich with 13 shooting modes. The stitch-assist mode is extremely useful in taking Panoramic shots of landscapes, and the ’Macro’ mode gets you awesome close-ups!!!

I even carried it on my trip to Ladakh and I have never regretted my decision to buy this camera.

Summary: It runs on two standard AA battery cells, is very rich with features, is very easy to use, 3.2 MegaPixels, 1.8’’ color LCD with up to 10x playback zoom, Shutter speeds of up to 1/2000 second, fits into any pocket, takes great shots, with a 4x optical zoom and a sub-10, 000 price, it is Value-for-Money.
