I have been using Canon poershot for past 6 months now,
I purchased it for 15k .there are some basic flaws in it.
There is a constant shutter jamming problem.When you switch
it on in camera mode the shutter doesn’t open up copmpletely.
you ’ll have to touch the shutter to get it working.
Also at times it shows memory card, when viewing a particular
image in playback mode. I told my dealer about these problems \
and he gave a very luke response to it.
After purchase service is also a important factor when you are about
make such a buying.
As per the image quality is concerned it’s good for a 4x and 4 mp camera,
but I also have a concern on the red eye elimination factor for thge gadget.
The red eye phenomemon persists, even in good lighting conditions
during night.
These are the features that I noticed over a period of time.The hardware
problem may be specific to my device, but the red eye i’m sure would be
common to all.
I’m looking forward to IXUS series from Canon, hoping things improve there.
