Having some problems getting my regular Olympus camera in place, due to lack of authorized service centers, I was in search of a digital camera.
Having done a research on digital cameras for almost 6 months which includes service center details, availability of parts, services provided so on so forth, A95 was the one fitted in the budget... suggested by many of the competitor products, reviews on internet both mouthshut.com & cnet.com.
Canon A95… a family camera, sturdy, compatible with the standard accessories available outside market especially the memory stick…
Even the movie option is cool, the only constraint would be it has to have enough light source from outside to get the pinpoint clarity.
The good: Full feature set for its class; impressive photo quality; quick access to important settings via Function button; accepts accessory lenses.
The bad: Stiff CompactFlash slot cover with flimsy hinge; grip may be uncomfortable for larger hands.
The bottom line: When it comes to features and image quality, this camera is at the top of its class.
