I have had this camera for about a year now. I would tell you its 8MP tag is totally useless. it is actually 2-3 MP camera (it seems)
well first of all the camera lacks a certified lens (eg carl zeiss, etc) . I didnt know the difference these certified lenses could make to a camera. After buying I got to know.
When you click photos outside it is fine, but INDOORS pics a re totally blurry. they are not sharp, clear. there is color dithering clearly evident on little zooming. On the outside even my nokia 3230 mobile camera(1.3 mp) clicks crystal clear photo so no big deal if a digicam can do it.
But I needed camera which will could perform indoors too. which this doesnt. Its an ok cheap option . but even you are no pro in photography , you do deserve a better camera. Get any companies’ camera, but look out for lense. it should be carl zeiss, or luca , etc. I have seen mobile camera with certified lenses click better photos than this camera.
There was clear diffrence between sony camera and this one. So dont just go for MEGAPIXEL TAG. do look out for other things too. See the ATTACHED PHOTO for the dithering of color on indoor photo, and blured image.see how the colors are not clear and photo is not at all sharp.
