Good Product in Low Price

No doubts, Canon is the best brands in digital cameras. I have used Sony and Nikon and this time I purchased Canon and it is really amazing. I am using it for about 5 months and I have good experience with it.

What is Good?

  1. Quality Pictures

  2. No distortion at corners of the image

  3. Uses SD Card

  4. Flap Display (Protects your LCD and allows you to take pictures from almost all angles)

  5. 4X Optical Zoom (Generally you will get just 3X in this range)

  6. My Colors Function (Allows you to replace the color in real time OR choose a color by moving lens to that color and you will get only that color in the image rest of the ares will be in grey scale)

  7. Optical View Finder

  8. Normal AA Size Batteries (You can find Pencil Cells anywhere, if your batteries discharge)

  9. Extendability to use Tripod and external lens

  10. You can zoom even with Video Recording and Video Files are VCD compliant.

  11. USB 2.0 (Fast Access)

What is Bad?

  1. Bulky Size

  2. No appealing look (IXUS 55 looks amazing...)

  3. It becomes heavy with batteries (It uses 4 AA Size batteries)

  4. It does not come with batteries and charger. You will have to purchase seperately.

  5. Memory Card is just 16 MB and that will be of no use because you will definitely purchase the memory card of better capacity.

  6. Indoor pictures are sometimes dark. In SONY cameras, when we click, Flash comes in 3 parts (with slight time delay) and we get good quality. In Canon, flash occurs only once. You may get dark pics some times.

  7. Just USB Connectivity, No Bluetooth or WiFi

  8. There is plastic/rubber cover that covers USB and A/V connector. It looks too filmsy and does not give good feel.

  9. You can download the photo from memory card but you can not send the photo from computer to memory card again. Once deleted then deleted.
