I recently joined Capgemini at senior Consultant level and have 7 years of work ex. It’s been 5 months and leaving Capgemini thought have come in my mind a hundrad times. I am not complaining about kind of work you do or promotions or salary increment issues, since I have not faced it so far.
I have complaints about all support teams like IT support, HR, Admin, Finance etc. All policies are worst for employees. I must say that Capgemini India is a’chillar’ company. To get your own money which you spent for official work and was given assurance from manager to get it back, you have to make it hard, have to run behind every person involved.
Too much emailing, less work, more talking, no clear view on process, no defined process and guidelines, internal complexities etc are the areas I can recall right now.
Employee is treated like a Dog. If you can lick the manager’s a*s and work in that kind of environment then its fine for you, it doesn’t matter for you about bad or good. Too much pathetic process and policies. totally illogical. No escalation process. No response from the auhtorities. Seems like every support team have their own vendors and have huge commission in everything.
No transparency, no communication with you for your own concerns.
Totally disgusting.
