This movie was a very need one for the story as every marvel fan was waiting for it from past year since the end of infinity war. The role of nick fury played by sameul Jackson was the best highlight of the movie and I would recommend you to watch the movie for that. The role of captain marvel was also important, basically you must see this movie as it is the foundation for every marvel movie and will help you to connect various pieces of the movies like how was the name avengers chosen or why were they formed in first place.
