Im not sure if CBI still exists. I bought a copy sometime last year and wasnt too pleased with my purchase.
CBI was a very good magazine. In fact, I would call it the best magazine for Indian motorcycles during the late 90s. But, as many followers of Indian auto magazines know, the teams moved. Most of the CBI team moved to Overdrive. Regular readers of CBI (in the 90s) and Overdrive now would note that Adil Jal Darukhanawalas style of writing hasnt changed.
CBI always gave sensible reviews of motorcycles - they would tell you which motorcycle was good for traffic light grands prix, which one was good for highway riding, and which one was good for daily commuting.
The same thing happened to Auto India (and Indian Auto Journal before that). Hormazd Sorabjee & team moved to Autocar India and Auto India is now almost forgotten.
Unfortunately, this review has to be correct today and hopefully that explains the low rating.
